To celebrate the release of Night at the Museum 2 on DVD and Blu-Ray on 9th November 2009, Rexy – a 1200kg, 30ft animatronic dinosaur - now has a new home in The Movieum - London’s Film Museum based in County Hall on the South Bank.  He now takes pride of place in the first room where he will be roaring at unsuspecting visitors as they enter

He made quite a journey to get there after being placed on a truck and driven around London on a sightseeing tour. Stopping off for a quick visit at Trafalgar Square he then came across Westminster Bridge before arriving at County Hall.

Night at the Museum 2 follows the thrilling adventures of Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) as he reunites with his eccentric museum companions to restore order to the worlds’ largest museum – The Smithsonian Institution.

The Movieum is London’s only museum dedicated to the film industry and houses original costumes and props from Superman, Batman, and Gladiator, among others. The many interactive exhibits give people a chance to try their hand at film making and learn about how films are made.

The Movieum is open every day except Christmas Day.
